Celebrate Winona Ryder with an immersive takeover! There will be lots of interactive events throughout the park, plus all-you-can-ride and open bar from 6-11 PM - plus I'll be DJ'ing at Dante's Disco Inferno in the Beetlejuice section from 8-10PM.

FRI AUG 23 - Ten of Pentacles, Repent’s 10 Year Anniversary Show
For the strange and unusual, there's no better night than REPENT - Denver's weirdest burlesque + club night. I can't believe it's already been ten years!

Urban Heat is one of those bands that, a few years ago, I never thought I'd get to see live. But that dry spell is certainly over, as I've had the pleasure of working with them twice and seeing them FOUR times over the past year. I also appreciate that they bring unique opening acts along for the ride; this time it was GVLLOW and Delores Galore, who were both awesome and you should check them out immediately.

Since Void+Veil is on a brief hiatus (catch us at Milk Bar on Tuesday August 20th!) I begged Ritual Noize Denver to let me DJ this show. The crowd was so into it that no one seemed too bothered by the heat and humidity of many bodies in a fairly compact space. This was the best I've seen Urban Heat perform, and I expect that they'll continue to outdo themselves when they're back through on their Spring 2025 tour!

As always, I recorded my DJ sets so you can either listen for the first time because you missed it, or figure out what that one track was that you needed to know more about!

The Borderlands movie comes out next week, so it actually worked out great that we had to reschedule April's Outrun event due to a power outage. Now you only have to wait a few more days to get your fix!

I think it's common knowledge by now how much I love cyberpunk content, but maybe my second favorite theme is post-apocalyptic stuff. Borderlands kind of lies in-between: megacorps fighting over territory on a planet with little ecosystem to speak of, psychos roaming the wastes in mangled vehicles, and absolutely over-the-top characters.

As I mentioned recently, I finally managed to get the Dark Tuesdays crew out to Terminus Festival this year. We had an amazing time, but our return to Denver was bittersweet, as we capped off the festivities with our very last club event at HQ. At least we went out in style: with a solid dance floor and amazing tunes!

Terminus Festival 2024 was even more amazing than I could have ever dreamed. Saturday in particular featured a lineup that felt like someone personally tailored it to my tastes!

Huge thanks to the crew at Dickens that blows it out of the water year after year, and to the incredible artists that took part in the show. Mecha Maiko it was an absolute joy to finally meet in person! Markus Midnight and Nuda were probably my favorite unexpected gems of the festival, and seeing Sydney Valette, Total Chroma, Glass Apple Bonzai, Body of Light, Bootblacks, Urban Heat, Night Club, Houses of Heaven, Ms.BOAN, Kontravoid & Nuovo Testamento again was awesome. And I had high hopes for INHALT, Devours, & Dark Chisme, but they FAR surpassed them.

Many of my Denver friends joined on this adventure: DJ Nitrogen, Aphotica, Kilgore, and Novelí, I hope you can make it next year because I already know it's gonna be badass. And it was lovely to see Dj H A T E Mior, DJ Vernal Trash, DJ Jackpot & DJ Starr Noir dropping the absolute JAMS every night.

A show two years in the making finally came to fruition last night, and Denver was treated to Sydney Valette's very first US tour! Voight crushed it as always, and Sydney lit up the stage and had the whole crowd pumped. I just picked up some very special Outrun - Denver retro shirts from the printer, and they came out FANTASTIC! These are based on the classic VHS tape box aesthetic from the 80s, in vibrant four-color screen print, 6" wide by 11" tall.

These are $25 each in unisex sizes S to XL. All proceeds from these shirts will be used to make our upcoming SynthBangers Festival (Saturday October 5th) even more amazing! If you'd like a different size, cut, or item, DM me what you need and I'll put together another print run in the near future. I'll have these on hand at every Synthwave Saturday @ HQ, or I'm happy to bring what you want to Dark Tuesdays any week!

NOTE: I did my best to capture the color with my phone camera, but it's not 100% true to reality. The fourth bar down (red/burgundy) looks very similar here to the second one (yellow/red) but is actually a bit darker to the eye, making the transition more smooth in person. The shiny overhead light tricks the camera!

May 31st marked 10 years of DJ gigs for me. I didn't do anything that night, and the following night was multiple DJs and a live performance, so I didn't want to detract focus. Instead, I celebrated with my longest-running residency at Dark Tuesdays and first-time guest Kevin Callison!
