🤭 We had giant ball pits on Friday. Ellie remembered Peppermint had enjoyed stealing her pompoms previous years. However she was delighted to see Nutmeg sitting in my Grandmother’s crystal ashtray. She is very good about not touching and she loves to see who Peppermint brings with her on her adventures.

Let me warn y’all, Friday was not a day of particularly good choices. I’m afraid our elves will be on vacation for the weekend. I did see Santa in person Saturday night. The was something very sparkly on my front porch this morning. Ellie was very impressed.

Elves got into Nana’s bathroom cupboard again! They even brought treats.

I do not have a sweet tooth, but something about those cinnamon churro marshmallows was calling my name.

Ellie really enjoyed this skittles rainbow! She kept asking me how I thought the Elves made this particular magic work.
🙌🏼 I did good. Of course while Ellie enjoyed the candy, I was excited about the Noorah and Snowy Owl.

We had “the best sleepover ever” Ellie said. We woke up to this new mess. This must have been for me, because I hate crinkle cut potato chips. 😛

Who do you wear pink for?

12 years ago today I began my journey. I immediately detested October. It made my head rage. My husband slowly bought me survivor socks, small trinkets. He got us matching t-shirts at a restaurant hosting a charity. He was willing to wear pink. I mellowed, I was a survivor.

I wear pink every October for all of the women who aren’t ready yet. I stand with them.

I also wear pink for Bob, who is a giver. I don’t think he has any idea how much those socks mean to me.
