Second woman and first Jewish person to serve on the US Supreme Court. Among many other things, RGB fought for woman’s rights, gender equality, and fought passionately for the rights of the LGBT community. 🌈✨

✨Here is a little BTS clips of creating RBG.
A few things you may not know we did to build her:
•We used Carex Tenuiculmis (Another more common name actually called Hair Sedge ). Which is a type of grass, to create her hair, we also used a bun donut and covered it with more grass to create a little hair bun in the back.
•Her glasses were made out of sugar to create that glass look, which sadly didn’t last long as ants were really enjoying their tasty treat.
•The popular lace necklace was made out of Statice flowers. Before we were thinking of using rice to create a much more delicate lace line.. but it might have not made such an impact.
•Lastly, the words at the back of her gown were made out of leaves and dried flowers. RBG personal quote which reads:
“ Real change, Enduring change, happens one step at a time.” A self reflection of our own personal changes in life and how that impacts the changes that happens socially.
We did our best to be as creative with this piece. No dyed or tinted flowers were used. We selected as much locally grown blooms as we could. Our materials were all eco-friendly, using recycled containers, wool foam, and chicken wire, to hold all the flowers in place. 💫

~ WOW this long weekend was a busy one! I had an extremely long list of people inquiring and/or booking. I don’t think I’ve had that many people inquire all at the same time, like that, in a long time. You guys got me working non-stop! 😅💫
