Hi everyone! My name is Erika and I am the owner of The Silver Knot. I am a Senior at Ball State University obtaining a BS in Public Relations and a double minor in Spanish and Public Health. In my free time, I like to run, read and spend time with family and friends. During my time at Ball State, I have had the pleasure of working along side Riley Hospital for Children and Children Miracle Network Hospitals with Ball State University Dance Marathon. I have served as the Director of Hospitality and the Vice President of Membership Development for this wonderful organization. Aside from my work with BSUDM, in 2019 I was the Co-Chair of Special Events for BSU Homecoming 2019. I’ve collaboratively helped plan multiple events that take attention to detail and extensive planning, as do weddings.
I started this business to gain more experience in Event Management and to utilize the skills I already possess from collegiate and personal encounters. I love planning and organizing such events and have a passion for helping others and providing my services to the public. Weddings fascinate me and what better way to put my skills to use than making a bride have the best day of her life!
