Our Story

Overlooking the incredible Nicoya Peninsula coastline of Mal País and Santa Teresa, OCiO offers expansive ocean views while nestled high in the unapologetic jungle. It is in this jungle where monkeys stir, trees give way to a lush and vivid palette of green, and you get a frontrow seat to all its beauty.

Upon arrival at OCiO, you will step into another world of luxury. This 14,500 square foot estate lingers in the sweet-smelling jungle air and wandering open-air floor plan with infinity pools and sweeping terraces. In no time you will be basking in Costa Rica’s famed local flora and fauna and etching in your memory one of the most beautiful sunsets you’ve ever seen. You know the kind, with its pure blue costal shoreline in the foreground patiently awaiting your arrival.

Our grander villa, Villa Nimbu, features five oversized master suites, each with a king bed and private open air bathroom. Local driftwood tree trunks are incorporated into the shower’s design, and the bathtubs are made from carved natural stone.
