I've been into superhero costumes, props and cosplay since I was a kid. Well, if you can call putting on shiny gloves and sunglasses and calling me 'MJ' cosplay, then yes I was into it. I put together my first real costume in 2006, my Superman Returns costume. I started printing enhancements for costumes, then helmets, then printing full armored costumes and parts! Shortly thereafter, I also found
that 3D-printing can help solve problems (like a broken k**b for my car) and bring my crazy ideas to life (like coffee pod holders)! And now, our family has turned SuperheroDIY into a combination of a) my love for superhero stuff and b)finding a DIY solution to everything we can. We're always finding a need for the perfect fix for this or that, whether it's around the house or a new idea from our customers and friends! The solutions for collectibles, home, tools, toys, gadgets, gifts, and other great items you'll find here are all 3D-printed right here in Broomfield, Colorado. Ok wow, pegs really make a difference …
Magneto has a REALLY hard time standing up on his own. This X-Men ‘97 figure is really unbalanced and the feet aren’t exactly straight, so it makes it a bit hard for him!
I was going to just use regular shelves, but decided to add foot pegs for these figs and WOW does it make a difference!

This is our filament storage closet and we definitely try to keep it stocked up. I absolutely cannot stand running out of filament as that means I’m dead in the water!
We’ve been working on switching over to all-cardboard spools for quite awhile now. Unfortunately we can’t get some colors (or the color is a bit off) on a cardboard spool, so still have a few that are on plastic spools that can’t be recycled. That part sucks.
Definitely love being able to come to this closet and grab a new spools when I’m working on fulfilling orders as quickly as possible, though!

Got a couple new additions to the team last weekend. They’re fitting in well so far, learning the ropes and going through our onboarding program. We’ll be making sure that they become valuable members of the Superhero DIY team, and are so thankful they decided to come work with us!

Really proud of the way our new lightsaber wall mount turned out! It’s really sturdy and strong and holds the blade securely rather than just a little clip that will scratch your blade! Plus, we can print it in multiple colors to match the display! I think this one in our new black looks just awesome with the Kylo Ren lightsaber! But what do you think?
Do we need a combo shelf for the Pocket Pops? Keep the box and the keychain? Lemme know!
