Hazbro I have a couple thousand records, and I hand-select the 50-100 I need to customize your event’s vibe.

I go by DJ Hazbro, but I consider myself a curator above all. I started curating and spinning all-vinyl sets for Vinyl Me, Please's Spins event monthly starting in 2016. I originally hosted at Gerald's but soon moved to Ray Gene's. After Vinyl Me, Please ended their event, I kept the event going as The SP!NZ. With Ray's passing, Oil Horse began hosting, and I've been there ever since. After the pa

ndemic, The SP!NZ changed to every other month (Feb, April, June, Aug, Oct, and Dec), and I choose the theme, record to give away, and themed set list of records. In addition to The SP!NZ, I've DJ'd private events as well as handful of special events including Ollie's Downtown Takeover, the Blood Fest premier party at SXSW, local concerts as between-act music, March for Our Lives Longview, and the Longview Half K Marathon. This DJ thing is a hobby of mine, and I greatly appreciate every chance I get to bring joy to the community through my love of music and the physical vinyl format.
