Skip

We are applying for the Skip $5,000 Growth Grant. After opening a second brick and mortar location of our Business (a princess themed play and party space) last year, we are definitely in growth mode. We could use some extra funds to help build out our downtown customer base (hoping to mirror the one we have at our uptown location). We'd like to do some marketing, hire another staff member to run parties and have the bandwidth to get out into the community more with events, partnerships and programming for the kids in our local community. We are a women owned business and many of our customers are young girls which is a dynamic we take very seriously. A grant like this would be so meaningful to us, we would be able to sleep better at night knowing we have the means to do this expansion right. Skip has been a very useful resource for small businesses over the course of the last couple years, so we will cross our fingers and sprinkle some fairy dust magic on this application...

Looking forward to a big weekend of community events.
Tomorrow - Manhattan Chamber of Commerce Small Business Street Fair on 3rd Ave and 82nd Street. Come by for crafts and a special appearance around noon.

Sunday - we are doing a pop up storytime and craft at Chelsea Green Park, West 20th Street. We may also have a different surprise guest there as well.

Join us for some summer fun at one of our Lemonade Stand Themed Princess Plays. We will have dress up and a tea party, with pink lemonade of course. We will also read Pinkalicious and the Pink Drink and do a small craft.
