Mo & Martin are slowly progressing through Mexico, with a recent stopover in the beach town of Progreso! While there, they’ve enjoyed the new statue of Poseidon, worked out at Viking Gym on the beach, eaten at food trucks, and cozied up to a huge iguana! As they inch closer to Belize, the two are loving life On the Move, strategically trekking south with the climate while the sea breeze keeps them cool on otherwise hot days. Puerto Morelos was next, with a stop in a Valladolid RV Park to charge up their batteries with shore power.

Mo & Martin are still On the Move, venturing into Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula! On day 110 of their incredible journey from Alaska to Argentina, they have arrived in Champotón, a coastal city formerly part of the Maya civilization. Mo & Martin are loving their journey through Mexico, one city at a time! Over the last several weeks, the two have visited the ruins of Monte Alban, celebrated Dia de Los Muertos in Oaxaca City with face painting, and have gotten up close and personal with the awe-inspiring El Arbol del Tule, a 2,000-plus year-old tree in El Tule. There’s been a few bumps in the road along the way, but they’re used to it at this point.

🚐 🧭 It’s been a fun (and busy) couple of weeks since we’ve last caught up with Mo & Martin! Lots of bumps in the road (literally – pot holes, speed bumps, erosion, etc.) and figuratively (a few broken parts on the van that needed fixing and a couple of police stops due to the color of the van and its tinted windows). But Mo & Martin have remained polite and full of positive energy along the way, and it’s gone a long way toward their successful journey to this point. They’ve visited the El Hajin ruins, paddle boarded on the emerald green river in Axtla de Terrazas, and enjoyed tasty organically grown food and drinks in the mountains at Rancho Escondido.
