A little collection of autumnal blues from northern France a couple of years ago 🩵
It delights me that someone sometime chose to paint this building blue! Possibly one of my favourite facades ever, and the last photo is one of my faves too 🥰
I’ve kind of disappeared temporarily from Instagram again 🫣 I had to cancel two trips away last week, for various reasons, so all the festive content I was going to capture is not going to happen! So for now I’ll make do with some greatest hits instead, while I keep my head down and plough through the work. The finish line is in sight!

Sneaking these in before Instagram goes full blown Christmas, or did it do that already?!
I’m consistently behind with the times 😅
November flew past in a whirlwind, a bit like the years have since I took the last photo! It was the busiest month I’ve had in a long time, with almost no days off work but some amazing opportunities for which I am so grateful!! I can’t wait until Christmas now and a big old break to rest up with my boys 🥰

I love going to different places and almost feeling like I’m living someone else’s life for a couple of days ☺️
The pretty little village of Appledore in Kent is very far removed from where I live, with a mix of double fronted dolls houses that look like they are straight out of a novel, and traditional Kent clapboard houses. Several people said they didn’t know there was an Appledore in Kent as well as Devon, so here’s some more snaps from this pretty village!
Every detail of The OutBuilding where we stayed was beautiful, and clearly a lot of love has gone in to choosing every object and detail. Inspiring, cosy and welcoming, what more could you want!

Photo story from a couple of lovely days in Kent ⚓️🐚

We stayed in the pretty village of Appledore - the Kent version not the Devon one! The village is next to the Royal military canal, for great walks out to Romney marsh, and you are also perfectly placed for weird and wonderful Dungeness, and other gems of the Kent coastline such as Rye and Camber Sands.

Our accommodation, The Outbuilding, courtesy of was so cosy, comfortable and welcoming, with the most beautiful and inspiring interiors lovingly filled with books and vintage finds.

You know the drill, swipe to the end for Albert’s comedy face - There’s good niffs on that sea air!

It’s been many years since I’ve taken my kids to this part of the country, so I’m very much looking forward to heading down there this week and seeing if they remember some of the places we went to on that trip! Swipe to see tiny boys in the mist in Castle Combe 🥹
As well as Lacock we’re going to pop into Frome and Bradford on Avon, both of which I’ve never been to before, and of course it would be rude not to swing by Castle Combe on the way home 😊
Any other recommendations of a whistle stop tour of Wiltshire (and dipping into Somerset) or must sees in these towns? Thank you ☺️🙏🏻

It always amazes me how many beautiful things grow in the autumn 🍂🌿🌰🌸✨

Still life photography is such a big part of my work still, but I don’t often post it here any more, and I miss that! You may have spotted this gorgeous arrangement by in previous posts, and I thought it deserved a spot on the grid too 🤎🍂

Such a gorgeous time of year to visit the Cotswolds, with the smoking chimneys and autumn colours really adding to the fairytale vibes 😌🍁

I never regretted getting up for a sunrise ✨ The best thing about this time of year is being able to see the sunrise so easily. I thought this particular one deserved a little more air time 🥰 📍 @bowood_hotel (PR invite)

Moments from the Suffolk coast, a magical holiday that we’ll never forget! ✨ The wind blew, the sun shone, we ate and played and walked and rode our bikes for miles. Anyone with a dog will know all about Albert’s sleepy face at the end. Beach tired hits different doesn’t it 💤 I couldn’t resist using the audio of my son singing a sea shanty that I recorded on the beach - hence it’s very rough but rather than trying to re-record it and make it all polished, it’s just of a moment and a lovely one at that. I have so much more to share from this holiday. Coming soon. Happy bank holiday weekend folks 🩵
