Biography

In 1974, my father Ronald Toups started this DJ company with his love for music and entertaining people. 28 years later in 2002 at the age of 18, I took over the company from him. Still today, now 44 years later we are still in the business. You will find no local company with that amount of experience. With hundreds of weddings and thousands of parties under our belt, there is nothing you can throw at us that we haven’t done.

Southern Sounds owns the most up to date equipment and lighting. We’ve recently added a 12 foot inflatable movie screen and super bright HD projector to the lineup. This screen can be used to show movies or sports events at any function. Its great for birthday parties, fund raisers, or any event you can dream of.
