Our Story

Hillar has officiated close to 900 weddings in the past 9 years but due to his chaplaincy duties he has only accepted referrals and family friends the past year. This year will be much the same but if you happen to get on our website or page then contact me about your plans. There are dozens of wedding officiants out there today but you won’t get too many that have my experience. I get referrals for a reason but you’ll have to sit down for a coffee with me to find out why.

I am an ordained minister and thus the name Ministers For Weddings but 95% of the weddings I have officiated have not been in a church building. I have had the privilege of doing celebrity weddings and weddings for immigrants from Tibet with Buddhist monks present. I have officiated in my backyard and on the field at Rogers Centre.
