It’s been 2 years since we said our last goodbye. In some ways it feels like it was yesterday and in other ways, it seems like a lifetime ago.

I often wonder if you can see me from heaven and if you can, what would you think of this new me? I mean, I’m still me, just different. I think I’m better and there are parts of me that feel guilty about that. I wish you could have had this version of me; the version that only exists because you died. The new me savors the taste of my morning coffee a little more. The new me understand everybody has a story and I try my hardest to show everyone a little more grace. The new me understands it could all be over tomorrow so I cherish time with my family and friends a little deeper. I cherish the valleys of life because without the valleys, I wouldn’t to be able to appreciate the mountain tops. I’ve discovered how deep my creators love is for me and how sovereign and good He is, even when life isn’t.

Christopher, you left behind a legacy that still leaves me in awe. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about you. I love you and I’ll see you again 💙.

When my world came to a screeching halt 10 months ago, I wasn’t sure if I’d ever plan a wedding again. I didn’t know if I could handle the emotions and the stress that it required to be the ‘go-to’ for so many. I could barely take care of myself left alone an entire village of wedding professionals. But, this lady and her family, stepped up and encouraged me to believe in myself, because they believed in me. The Unzicker family walked along side me and helped me regained my strength and my love for wedding planning.

Today I’m excited to say, I’m taking off to Spokane to help a couple more brides walk down the aisle.

I’ve come a long ways and I just have to say, it feels good, to feel good 🤍

If only I’d known this would be our last picture, our last trip, our last dance… It’s been one month since we said our last goodbye. I wasn’t ready or prepared for this. We talked endlessly about everything we were going to accomplish together. The family and the life we were going to build. But, God had other plans. I will stand in faith that even though I believe this wasn’t Gods plan for our life, God has a plan. You’ve taught me how to stand strong amidst trials, pain and adversity and I promise I’ll make you proud. I love and miss you and while life doesn’t seem fair, I find hope in knowing I will see you again.

To every one that has messaged me, delivered something, picked up something, selflessly gave of your time and resources, I thank you! I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for the army of friends and family standing behind me supporting me, loving me and most importantly, praying for me.

Record temps and smoke filled skies didn’t stop us from celebrating
Justin + Jade. Their wedding was complete with a live painting, photo booth, yard games, cocktails, dancing and the perfect farmhouse setting. This couple, and wedding, was an absolute dream! A huge shoutout to my village of vendors that made this all possible 💕.
