And the last one also needs no introduction. Guido (BUERR) joined the Unterwasser crew back in 2015 when it started. He is back since last edition and running the show together with FritZ.
He is known from various bands and projects like Alien Vampires, Shireen and Occisionis. He DJs bars and pubs and the occasional festival b2b set like the one on the last Castlefest.
If one thing is for sure: Buerr knows how to start a party… and keep it going!

Since 2006 DJ FritZ plays at various club nights and international festivals where alternative electronic music is on the program. Among these are WGT, Castleparty, Castlefest and Infest. He shows up on various clubnights and is not afraid to move between genres. Since 2015 he hosts UNTERWASSER and sporadic live streaming has been added in the last 3 years. FritZ has a broad orientation, his preference is mainly louder underground electronics such as techno, electro-industrial and rhythmic noise mixed in long flowing sets that take you on a adventure.

Lifeless Past makes post-punk and dark wave from the dark depths of the 80s. With their floating electronic drums, dreamy guitars and comforting vocals, they know how to give a unique twist to the genre. In 2019 they released their debut album on the Polish label Batcave Productions. Their last release is a compilation album with material from their first 3 EPs. Lifeless Past consists of Satori on guitar and vocals along with Brandon on percussion.

Welcome back vi###en!
The dance group started spontaneously one day at the Lowlands festival in 2002. On August 24th of that year, DJ -###- was spinning at the Charlie stage. During his set a few girls decided to jump on stage and dance to his music and the group came to the conclusion this was too much fun. DJ -###- quickly came up with the name Cybergirlzzz shortly after the impromptu event and the dance group was formed officially.
Not long after the Cybergirlzzz were receiving bookings for events in The Netherlands, Germany and Belgium including, but certainly not limited to, several well-known festivals like Wave-Gotik-Treffen and Summer Darkness. With these, along with onstage performances with bands like Centhron and Eisenfunk, the group became an entity of it's own.
Early 2014, after 12 years of performing under the name Cybergirlzzz, the group decided to become independent and changed their name to vi###en.
As vi###en, the group continued to find success, being honoured to receive bookings for well-respected events such as Amphi Festival, E-Tropolis and Bo***ir Bizarre. The onstage performances kept going as well, dancing with bands along the likes of Alien Vampires, Extize and Soman. The group is looking forward to continue the legacy.

Anyone in search of a substantial dose of industrial metal akin to Marilyn Manson or Psyclon Nine will finally hit the mark here. The four guys from Germany and Austria conjure up a dark spectacle, with plenty of screams, a lot of noise, and a significant uproar.

With the concept album "Revenge of the Antichrist," they released their first full-length album in 2014, which brought the band feature stories in various music magazines and garnered additional feedback across all channels. Following a successful tour in Germany with the undisputed Aggrotech band Centhron, and another one with Grausame T�chter, the next album arrived in 2017: "Hollow Earth." Aggressions and distorted drum samples blended wonderfully with soundtrack elements. First digital chart successes, vinyl releases, an associated remix album, a live album, and a tour with genre peers Freakangel all contributed to a consistently positive balance.

In 2020, the third album followed, offering more thematic depth in the vein of "Revenge of the Antichrist" and can thus be understood as a successor. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire tour, which was supposed to extend to the USA, had to be canceled. In the meantime, extensive work was done on the stage show, and now the four metalheads are ready to crank up the heat for all of us.

Officially formed in 2000 by JD Tucker, GRENDEL was quickly picked up by the legendary German label NoiTekk (a subdivision of Black Rain Records), upon hearing their first promo CD. This promo included the club hit “Strangers” and, after additional production & mastering, would become their 2001 debut studio album, “Inhumane Amusement”.

After much hard work, October 2017 marked the release of the eagerly awaited album, “Age Of The Disposable Body”. Not only did this album offer a rich palet of sounds & styles, but also a huge step forward vocally and lyrically, marking a new chapter in Grendel’s evolution. This album focussed on the contemporary political situation in both Europe & North America, regarding populist politics & the cult of personality. It also saw guitarist Emanuelle Trinci involved in the creative process and guest appearance by Seamus Bradd of The.Invalid. The album received critical acclaim & praise from both fans and press alike and reached top 5 positions in both sales & DJ charts. To promote the album, Grendel embarked on an extensive 34 date tour of North America and played major festivals across Europe. This tour would see both Neal Read & Erik Gustafson join the band and Grendel taking on the form of a full creative line up.

During the time after the North American tour, JD continued working on his music, exploring new musical avenues, and spent time reflecting on recent events in his life, which resulted in the 2019 release of the “Ascending The Abyss” album. The title of the album refers to facing challenges in life as a rite of passage. Erik Gustafson became involved in the recording process, with guitar taking on a more prominent role. Musically it showed Grendel taking a more mature approach to their music and expanding on the new direction set by “Age Of The Disposable Body”.

Cervello Elettronico is the "electric brain" child of industrial techno producer David Christian, who has made a name for himself with numerous international DJ sets and live performances. The project's unique sound is deeply rooted in sample based music and has explored different influences through the years such as EBM, Rhythmic Noise, and more recently Industrial Techno.

The project's inception in 2004 contributed to a new underground industrial scene that was brewing in New York City. After relocating to the west coat, Cervello Elettronico now maintains a monthly DJ residency at The Lash in Downtown Los Angeles. Several highly praised releases have been put out by Crunch Pod, Rustblade, Industrial Strength, and German experimental label HANDS.

In the early 1990s Zjon was one of the organizers of the famous (beautiful dark memories) New Wave Gothic Dance Nights in De Sater (Leidschendam) and the Rockz. Now he organises and djs the Dark Memories Den Haag event in The Hague, in the Musicon venue. Dark Memories emerged from the Goth Class-X party in Lokaal Vredenbreuk.
The motto of Zjon is: tracks must be danceable!

Antibody is a solo powernoise project based in Germany.
At the Age of 12(!!!), in the year 2013, Jan Antibody thought "Hey! Lets make some Industrial!".
From 2013 to 2015 Antibody went through some changes, hunting down and seeking out their true identity/image. Jan Antibody made a Remix of Aengeldusts Club-Hit "M**h Face" and suddenly Antibody became a recognised name within the underground Industrial scene. Then came the expert crafting of several remixes, amongst them were remixes for the Canadian noise act Displacer and for the German dark-elektro act Binary Division. In 2015 Antibody successfully submitted a track to the infamous Alfa Matrix Industrial Compilation Endzeit Bunkertracks (Volume 7). Unsurprisingly, Alfa Matrix Records immediately agreed to sign the original track "Shrimps" to their world renowned Compilation.

Antibody is here to infect the world with heavy beats, thundering basslines, catchy melodies and a be***al mixture of Industrial, Power Noise and Hardstyle/Hardcore. In 2016 he released the first single of the new album: "Desperation". 2017 finally his debut album "Opera Of Death" came out succesfully.
Following the Success 2018 has seen the Release of his second Album "Revolution Dance" with Remixes from the mighty Grendel, Kant Kino and many more. After almost 2 years of wait a new Ep is on the horizon with named "Sorrow" with remixes from Ruined Conflict, Croona, CattaC, Teknovore and DKAG.

The interstellar cosmonauts from Staatseinde have landed their spaceship in 2006 to bring their sound, described as ’Neue-Niederländische-Welle’ (New Dutch Wave) to earth. With their brand new full length LP ‘FEHLERLINIE’ on Medical Records, three 12″ EP’s, two 7″ singles, a CD, several cassettes and contributions on many compilations the band has made a huge discographical overview of their musical history.

Staatseinde creates a theatrical mix of pulsing electro with nostalgic hopeful synthlines, all performed live with synthesizers, a sequencer and tantalizing vocals. From Wave to EBM, from NDW to Punk and everything else in and out of the box. It is like walking into a club meeting Kraftwerk on speed and The S*x Pistols on Acid.

Rooted in The Hague, founding member Der Neo found its way through the Caribbean to Utrecht. With a musical background in wave, grunge, digital hardcore, gothic and the natural connection to the West Coast Sound of Holland the veins of Staatseinde are voiced by a very diverse but distinctive raw electronic sound.

After being part of several musical projects ranging from techno, industrial, grunge and shoegaze he founded Staatseinde when finding back a home recording tape named ‘Staatseinde’ that he made in 2004. The first decade they operated as a full band with drums and bass guitar. With Andy Dufter joining them and introducing more synthesizers the duo became the thriving power and solid basis of today’s sound since 2011.

They performed on many occasions ranging from huge festivals, to small underground concerts, nightclubs, art spaces and radio shows. They played shows in many countries. Staatseinde brought their music to The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, United Kingdom, Sweden, Poland and even to China.

Duracell Bunny is a Manchester (UK) based EBM and hard dance DJ 15 years worth of people filling dancefloors and questioning their musical taste. From beginnings in the alternative nights in Oxford (intrusion) and Reading (electrocute) she's gone on to play clubs all over the UK. djSPUD is a Belgian DJ born and living in the Netherlands. His career spans a period of 30 years seeing him both perform at many dance parties, concerts & festivals throughout the Benelux and even beyond and also contributing to & hosting radio shows.

In 1993 his first DJ experience was gained at Leuven’s college radio station Scorpio where he joined a group of friends doing the KAGAN wave gothic electro industrial radio show. From 2008 till 2011 he hosted his own radio show Defcon 1 on Dutch national radio KinkFM.

He had his debut as a club DJ back in 1996 and soon became a regular DJ at events such as Cybergothic Syndrome, Cyberia, Dark Heaven, Freitag, Summer Darkness, Underground Frequencies, etc. and the regular DJ at I Am Darkness & The Downward Spiral. djSPUD gigs are famous for their balance between loud upbeat EBM, dark electro & Industrial and emotional synthpop, post-punk & indie songs all with a common melancholic theme. A style djSPUD likes to call dark indietronic. Be prepared for a night full of musical variation filling the dancefloor and creating a fantastic atmosphere in the Oil Bunker.

We are proud to have these giants on our stage!

Covenant! The name stands for extraordinary commitment, class and a brotherhood stronger than blood. Covenant as a name with its biblical overtones may have been a bit ambitious for an aspiring teenage band from southern Sweden armed purely with rudimentary electronics, but in the end this combination proved to be exceedingly fitting. Whether life was mimicking art piece by piece here or art was mimicking life is debatable, either way the band's moniker ended up perfectly encapsulating the vision, grandeur and brotherhood of the band itself.

"We live in a dark, confusing time, and Covenant have written an album about the feelings that come with it. In a world that no longer makes sense, we must learn to see in the dark, and "The Blinding Dark" is a hymn to the resilience of a strong soul. The music, dystopian and pitiless, reflects the shadows we all carry within us, while most of the time we are too cowardly to take a closer look at them. It seems turned inward, not explosive, driven by cold rage instead of passionate fire, as beautiful as a star that has set."

Covenant's latest studio album, "The Blinding Dark", is not only exciting because of its title, but also marks a remarkable stylistic evolution that Covenant also purposefully set its sights on - and also grabs you because of the themes it deals with. The Swedish-German band has probably created their most artistically ambitious work to date.

Covenant are opening a new chapter in their band history, the band hasn't sounded this dark, atmospheric and incisive since their legendary second album "Sequencer". Still, there is nothing nostalgic about "The Blinding Dark." It dives like a nautilus on an exploratory voyage in black waters - straight into the future without looking back.

With their charismatic frontman Eskil Simonsson, Covenant made a name for themselves early on with their live shows, which the band has steadily built up to this day. Through the close relationship with the audience, the band has steadily gained new fans.

Raphael and Yannick are the minds behind the uprising DJ project "Dancefloor Gladiatorz". They have a clear focus on dark and heavy electronic music but also incorporate other genres.
They did everything, from streams to clubnights.

We are welcoming LLUMEN on our stage!

LLUMEN was formed somewhere in the first decade of the 21st century, the original 3-man band was brought back to a one man project in 2009. With LLUMEN, Pieter Coussement aims to bring multi-layered dark electronic music that is driven by pulsing beats, fast sequences and catchy melodies. Combining elements ranging from old-school EBM, gothic, techno, future pop and the likes, LLUMEN's music offers something new each time you hear it, and keeps you in its hold. In his music he pays tribute to bands like Front 242, Haujobb, Diorama, Assemblage 23, Su***de Commando and Covenant to name a few.

Four years after the debut album "The memory Institute", 2021 holds the release of the follow up album "Polygon Heart", more autobiographic than ever, the albums gives an inner view of the turmoil of the last few years, in which a serious health crisis forced a personal introspection which led to a new way of writing songs, being true to the new found self, while at the same time meticulously crafting layer upon layer of sounds into emotional driven dark electronic club songs.
