Residencies: & Amanda Lindsey has been performing her act full-time for over four years and produces astonishing feats of magic. She started to get into magic when she was 8 and performed her first magic show at age 11. She graduated from the Univer

sity of Missouri – St. Louis with two Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communications and received her Deaf Communications Certificate while finishing her Masters in Counseling. Her magic resume includes everything from working with bands, performing private dinners in Las Vegas, to children’s birthday shows, carnivals, and much more. Her resume also includes managing and headlining the hit show Magic in the Lou and you can find her weekly performing at The Shaved Duck. She has worked hard to become a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, Society of American Magicians, Chicago Magic Round Table, and The Academy of Magical Arts.

I had the best time performing magic for Malik, Mary and Dusty on the Show Me St. Louis plaza. Their headline was perfect: Show Me St. Louis celebrates a Super Show Me Halloween on TV plaza. Malik and Mary showed up as Superman and Supergirl, and Dusty was Lex Luthor in disguise, so of course I had to play along. Magic was supposed to be their weakness… but I think we proved otherwise. I love working with this team, and getting to perform live out on the plaza was such a blast. I’ll be sharing their Superman cake soon too.
