Tantalising Talk from Philippa Arding, Thursday 9th March

Seven years after a ski accident in Norway left mountaineer Philippa Arding fighting for her life in an Oslo hospital, she finally felt ready to return to the sea cliffs of Devon and Cornwall. What followed was a remarkable story of sheer guts and dogged determination, failing was not on the menu, the only way was up!

Staverton Courtroom. Free entry. Doors open 7pm. Refreshments available.

We have decided to slightly raise our hire fees with effect from
1st of October. The fees have been the same for over five years.

It will now be £10 per hour (instead of £8) or £25 for a three hour slot (instead of £20). This brings the Courtroom into line with the existing Pavilion hire charges.

Our newly formed U14’s team, who are joining the league this season, have won their first friendly of pre-season 4-2 Vs Kingsteignton Athletic U14’s.

An excellent and positive performance, 4 great goals and some class keeping.

The lads have been working hard in training and it’s really showing in how they played today.

Bring on the new season 💪

There's a dodgy step
It's not for long as these steps in the corner of the playing field are about to be replaced with a slope this month (May) and thus will be out of use whilst this work is carried out

When it's soggy and you're on the playing field with your doggy, can you please be mindful of the part of the field that is marked out as the football pitch? If you're playing with a dog that is likely to dig in to brake suddenly then please keep to the non football areas.

The under 14s who have matches on this pitch need short grass to play football on and such scrapes play havoc with these future Harry Kanes ball skills.

Thank you 🐕⚽️🙂

I would like to organise some Fun fitness lessons in Staverton Courtroom starting on Thursday 21st of October. Let´s have fun!

My name is Lennart de Vos and I am 33 years old. I have recently moved to Devon from The Netherlands to work here. At the moment I work in Exeter for 3 days and I have got my own Fox gardening and maintenance business.

From a young age sport has always positively impacted my life in areas such as social interaction, fitness and mental health. This is why sport is a critical part of wellbeing and everybody should have the opportunity to experience it. I did a relevant bachelor degree in sport where I learned to coach people in a variety of sports. In The Netherlands a lifelong active lifestyle is one of the most important aims of the government to contribute to the nation’s health. In the last year of the course I took a specialist course to become a promoter of a physically and mentally healthy lifestyle. In my daily life I do all sorts of physical activities such as running, cycling and swimming.

Main Focus: Improvement of power Balance Coordination Physical condition Timetable: Every Thursday 8:45 am - 9:20 am (session 1) 9:30 am - 10:05 am (session 2) 10:10 am - 10:45 am (session 3)
No experience needed!
Bookings can be made via Lennart de Vos on [email protected] or 07883751401.
Please email to book your slot. 2x FREE try-out lessons
