Last night we had a wedding reception on & for the first time in a while we had a live band at the pub with Milestone playing live! Really enjoyed it, thought they were great and had the dance floor full all night 🕺

Next Sunday we have one of the biggest days of the year with the Old Firm league cup final!! ⚽️

Last event announcement for this year and it’s the biggest night of them all the Hogmanay party!
Buzzing to have The Socials performing live this year. They’ll be playing a wide range of music to suit all tastes and if last years Hogmanay party was anything to go on it will be another night to remember and a perfect way to bring the bells in!

Scotland Rocks, Friday 25th November 🥁🎶
We have the fantastic Scotland Rocks back at The Boolers again on the last Friday in November! We had them in August and was one of the best nights of the year so far, so had to get them back.
All money made from the tickets will go towards next years fun day to add to the £350 we have left from this years funday! Tickets are £10, message the page or @tracey Mitchell for your tickets 👍

Great night on Friday night with Scotland Rocks performing live to raise money for ‘Chest, Heart & Strokes’ charity! Well done to Tracey Mitchell for organising it raising £707 for the charity after all her outgoings, brilliant 👍

Got sent this video today, the only video I’ve seen of the main hall when we got the keys! Was the only room that was half decent as it had been done up prior to shutting down, there was only about 3 windows that weren’t smashed mind you!
In a couple of weeks it will be 3 years since I got the keys to The Boolers. Couldn’t write the luck we’ve had since, getting shut down due to Covid 5 months after we opened etc. Been some journey but we’re still going 🍻
To celebrate winning the pub of the year and also 3 years since getting the keys, I’m planning on having a night on the second weekend in July with discounted drinks and entertainment, aswell as the return of Drongan Fun day, on the last weekend of July. Keep your eye on the page as I’ll be posting an update about that soon, something to look forward to in the village

Great job from the bar staff yesterday with a funeral tea at 12pm and to turn hall around for 3pm & cater for everybody with a lot of staff on holiday was outstanding 👏

Full night was excellent and the crowd added to the night and made it one to remember! Never knew what to expect for the night but both Russ Bray & Wayne Mardle were excellent, interacting & getting a laugh with the crowd before it & throughout, playing darts, pictures and then Q&A at the end, two top guys!
