After much planning, and burying a sausage in the garden (gives you good weather apparently) Sophie and Reece got married at the fantastic Kingscote Barn. It certainly was lively!!! Felt like a Saturday rather than midweek, as the party atmosphere started even before the ceremony. Two great show Dances and there was even a duck up dancing. Great team at Barn with Lee and Georgia many memories were made. And to think it all started with a headbutt!!!

So what does a Dj do when a friend and fellow dj says can you do our wedding? Well I say you have to say YES! So it's how I came to be at Grand Atlantic Hotel in Weston last Friday. Clare and Andy with, I have to say, one of happiest weddings ever. Great first dance Dj Sammy mix that's the video with all the sticks. They bring a dance to another level. Andy then bringing in his own uplights, and sticks to help create a great atmosphere. Thanks to Rob Nutland for Vertus speaker rig - the best stick rig ever. Andrew Strickland for the dance floor (best in the West) and Love Letters. Dance floor was mental most of the night, with highlights Clare doing the Hand Jive, and Andy's mini old school rave and trance mix - Baby D acappela over Cafe Del Mar does work! And a Grand Finish, not once or twice but three times 😂😂 Finally all the people at The Grand Atlantic for making the day smooth and great to work in....and sorry about the fire alarms (3 times...but it was Andy's fault)

Great Tuesday wedding for G and A. Its not very often I get to do my own party here! A fine Elton tune as first dance. Like how couples now not just doing slow dances, makes it so much more! And video of last song below in comments....just a classic. 🍾❤️🥳🥳🕺💃🕺💃🕺💃

Just how a wedding day should be!! Bride late, getting married at noon, left hotel, very nervously at11.55!! Well done Abacus Wedding Cars for getting there with not too much delay. Beautiful ceremony with Sharon singing her wedding vows to Wesley, and wow what a difference arriving back...King and Queen for the day. Privileged to be asked to be their wedding host for the day, and once we had got 170 into the room the party began in the afternoon. The Speeches Sweepstake raised £300 for Bowel Cancer Research a charity very close to Sharon's heart 👏👍, and the winner was just 0.04 seconds out!! The afternoon finished with my unique version of Mr and Mrs - still a secret unless you book me! And the evening was what all Caribbean weddings should be...Pppppaaaaarrrrtttyyyyy! Did someone say Candy?😉😉💃🕺💃🕺. Many thanks to Xiena and her team at Aztec for another superb stress free day, Abacus Cars, William the photographer and Andrew Strickland with Kayte for the Magic Mirror. Today is feet up, chill 😎.
