Wedding planner super powers... matchmaking! Pairing you with the perfect vendor in every category is one of our specialties. While we do have list of trusted vendors we love to work with because we know they go above and beyond and truly deliver for our clients. We don’t just blanket assign vendors. We know which vendors excel at which styles and who would ultimately pair the best.

Case and point... specializes in slightly unexpected, imperfect blooms with a touch of wild and whimsy and were the perfect partners for A & B to bring their vision of California meets South American modern aesthetic. They wanted wildflowers and other grassy textural elements mimicking the native vegetation on property to feel as if the blooms and natural elements flowed effortlessly from outside to inside. The Steelcut team went above and beyond sourcing some of the coolest handmade vessels, bringing in rock elements, and crafting our very own elevated “tumbleweeds” for the tables. 🌾

Holly, the Chesapeake Bay retriever was a bit too rambunctious to participate in the actual wedding day, but this adorable fur-babe had to make an appearance in C & T’s special day. Guests were asked to “retrieve” their seats on a wall adorned with photos of sweet Holly and custom retriever wax seals we had made for the day. It was a fan favorite to say the least and had guests admiring the photos all night!

Even if fur-babes cannot be in attendance, there are so many ways to include them that aren’t just naming your signature cocktails after them or getting cocktail napkins of them made. Get creative with it! 🐕

Our lovely groom and bride’s sister/brother-in-law kindly coordinated to have the bride’s late father’s convertible ready and waiting, decked out on . C & T drove off in happily newly-wedded bliss! POV you ask us to design a wintry hygge inspired wedding featuring both your heritages...Polish & Scandinavian.

We love deep diving into your story including your heritage and any wedding traditions. Some example of how we customized this wedding design down to the smallest detail include:

-Pulling in some fun phrases in the day of paper goods copy
- Sourcing Polish Wycinanki cutouts for the es**rt wall
- Serving up some Polish and Scandinavian faves with Polish perogies and a family style Swedish Smörgåsbord as the first course to name a few
- Found a book of Scandinavian cocktails as the guest book
- Used Swedish Dala horses for table numbers

But seriously, your portraits shouldn’t be a chore, but more time you get to spend with each other and your nearest and dearest.

Ways to liven up portraits...
1 - Pick a photographer you enjoy spending time with
2 - Location location location... don’t drag everyone all over the city. Stick to one or two options.
3 - Posing, you don’t have to be a statue. Again this goes back to 1. Pick a photographer who gets you and gives good direction.

Inspired by the Scandinavian concept of hygge, but with a modern twist. See how E and D’s wedding went from mood boards to reality.

This Nordic inspired aesthetic was brought to life with wintry, textural florals and lots of candles. A mix of natural linen, wood and velvet textures added warmth while cleaner lines, matte accents helped modernize the look and kept it from feeling kitschy.

The palette of ebony, harbor gray, polar white, clay, ochre yellow and stone blue kept it feeling wintry, without verging into holiday territory. ❄

A Night at the Museum... but make it elegant, romantic, and FUN! For a late summer wedding, sometimes striking that balance between cheerful, summery and black tie evening can be tricky.

For this, we leaned into lush, organic, yet composed florals with sesasonal elements, textures and lots of candles. A mix of natural linen and wood elements added warmth while clean lines and more modern shapes maintained that sophisticated effortless feel. The mix of brighter pops of yellow kept it fresh, but still evening with darker olive touches. 🤎

JOY! It is why we do what we do in this industry and truly what sustains us vendors during the busy season... and if I’m being honest in the world right now because the world definitely needs more joy right about now.

E and D just radiated joy and love throughout their entire day. The vendor team kept commenting about how clearly in just utter, head over heels love they were with each other. It was contagious and permeated every aspect of their wedding to their family and friends, the constant hugging and laughter as people arrived, the staccato of jovial chatter during dinner, and the raucous dance party that ensued.

As a vendor it also makes you want to work harder and contribute to that joy. If this post serves as anything, let it be a reminder to keep that joy and love at the forefront on your wedding day and just be in the moment!

POV: you ask us to design a wedding based on your love of wine bars, South American travels, and Cali farm to table vibes. 🍷 🌾

For A and B’s wedding we created a focal bar reminiscent of their favorite NYC wine bar with bar snacks, copper bar stools and organic wines. Mix that with Sonora dessert inspired florals and rocks and a crudite food station that wouldn’t quit!
