Trinidad Carnival is a cultural festival that takes place in the Caribbean nation of Trinidad and Tobago, and is known around the world for its vibrant colors, high-energy music, and elaborate costumes.

During Carnival season, which typically takes place in late February or early March, the streets of Port of Spain, Trinidad's capital city, are transformed into a massive party zone, with thousands of people coming out to dance, sing, and celebrate. The festival kicks off with J'ouvert, a pre-dawn celebration that involves participants covering themselves in mud, paint, or oil, and dancing through the streets to the sound of soca music and has attracted high profile celebrities such as , , , Dwayne " " Johnson, and .

The highlight of Trinidad Carnival, however, is the masquerade, or "mas" for short. Mas involves participants dressing up in elaborate costumes that are designed to reflect a particular theme or story, and parading through the streets in a colorful and flamboyant display of creativity and artistry. Many mas bands spend months preparing for Carnival, working on their costumes and choreography in order to put on the best possible show.

In recent years, Trinidad Carnival has also become a major tourist attraction, drawing visitors from around the world who come to experience the festival's unique energy and excitement.
