Maple Fans Club The Maple Fans club is a 501c3 organization that strives to promote excellence in athletics for Adrian Public Schools. We would love to see you there!

The Maple Fans Club was established in 1960. The specific purpose of the Club is to foster, promote and encourage student participation in Adrian High School athletics. The main focus of the Maple Fans Club is to raise funds to help with athletic purchases that benefit all sports. The Maple Fans Club touches every athlete in every program at Adrian High School. Among the many things that the Club

purchases for our athletes and our athletic programs includes but is not limited to:

Varsity letters, numerals and award certificates
Plaques, trophies and medals for all tournaments that AHS hosts
Camera equipment for teams and other technology such as coach’s headphones
Expensive equipment items that can’t be covered in the school athletic budget
The building and initial furnishing of the high school weight room
Most of these purchases such as varsity letters to tournament awards are annual commitments whereas others are special request items but on average the Maple Fans Club provides upwards of $12,000.00 in support to Adrian High School athletics annually. Maple Fans Club meetings are scheduled to take place the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 in the high school health room. New members and ideas are always welcome!!

Our Story

Originally known as the Dad’s and Fans Club, the Maple Fans Club organized in 1960 to support Adrian High School Athletics. Although the name has changed, and the vision has expanded to encompass Middle School athletics, the mission stays the same: to foster, promote, and encourage student participation in Adrian Public Schools athletics. Studies show that kids who participate in athletics and activities do better in high school, college and their adult lives. Our student athletes learn time management, work ethic, self-discipline, teamwork, the ability to win and lose with dignity, being able to take instructions, constructive criticism and learning to deal with adversity. These are the traits and characteristics necessary to be successful in adult life.

The Fans Club main focus is to raise funds to help with athletic purchases, not covered by the general athletic budget, that benefit all sports. The Maple Fans Club touches every athlete in every program at Adrian High School and Springbrook Middle School.

In the 2017-2018 school year the Maple Fans Club purchased over $40,000 worth of equipment, awards, supplies and capital improvements for our athletic programs, including:
