🚨 NEW WYNONA BLEACH - OUT JAN 21st 🚨

Belfast’s favourite crunchy bubble grungers kick off 2025 with a brand new single ‘Tangerine’ ahead of their second jaunt to South by South West!

Blending alternative rock, shoegaze and power pop, this ‘Sexy Sophistipop’ track marks the third single from the band’s sophomore record (due in 2025). A down-tempo, crushing and popping ballad about wants and desires, it explores the delicate state one finds themselves in when they find themselves secretly crushing on someone they know they’ll never have. The track was written and recorded in the band’s own local pub ballroom-come studio/rehearsal space, produced by Wynona Bleach guitarist Jonny Woods while being mixed and co-produced by their long standing collaborators, Grammy nominated Andy Bradfield and Avril Mackintosh (The XX, Rufus Wainwright, Bryan Adams), who previously worked on the bands latest singles and also on their debut album
“Moonsoake” (2022).

May 1st we’ll be running a celebration of the amazing work Richard has done over the last six years for local music, championing artists and giving them a resource and platform they can release their music through. I’ve worked with Richard on a number of projects over the years and he’s been nothing but amazing so it’s fantastic to get to celebrate the work his does and the label!

🚨 NEW RELEASE 🚨

Dublins finest 90’s tinged alt rockers release shoegaze influenced new single ‘Constellation’.

The band have already shown us on previous releases that they’re more than capable of heads down rocks and acoustic renditions, on ‘Constellations’ they find a middle ground. Keeping the in-your-face guitars and pummelling drums but giving way to quieter moments allowing space for Sam’s vocals to be the focus and in doing that give him space to convey the emotion of the track. The chorus hits like the sun rising over the horizon with ethereal vocals added to mix that lean into their more shoegaze influences. Eschewing his normal approach of burying meaning in metaphor and turn of phrase the lyrics for the track are much more direct, “I love you so much, I’m sorry I let you down, Can we move on, can we just figure it out”. The vulnerability coupled with the dreamier approach to the sonics of the track make this a standout track in the Forty Foot catalogue.
