Family Mini Session dates are Friday, May 17th and Friday, June 7th in Dubuque, photographed by Christina.

We welcome families and couples of all ages. These sessions are great for pregnancy announcements, annual family photos, mommy and me, gifts for your parents who are finally empty nesters, or just because!
I typically only offer these once a year in the Dubuque area, but this year I'm bringing you 2!

Slowly making my way out of my Christmas bubble 🫧
The holidays are the best time for me to refresh, reset, and prep for the upcoming year. We have so many couples on our 🗓️ for ‘24, with only a few open dates remaining. It’s crazy to think that I’m just 3 days away from accepting 2025 weddings 🤯
Often times by the end of the year my motivation is drained from giving so much in one area of my business that I neglected other areas. This year I heavily neglected social media, I’ve been so mia with a constantly growing to-do list! I’m thinking 2024 will be my year to refocus and rebalance my business 🫶🏻

If was so fun to relive this 2021 wedding. I saw Allison & Drew (and their baby boy) a few weeks ago at her cousins wedding. I love catching up with past clients especially when they give me the honor of designing their wedding album! 🥹

It's the most WONDERFUL time of the year!! Well almost...but you know what that means??? I'm back at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa for their Santa N Paws Event!
I love this event because it means all of November I get to switch gears and photograph families and their fur babies. I get to see some of the same families every year and it's so fun to see how their families have changed and grown.
This year I will be there for 3 dates, I have those and the locations listed below as well as how you can reserve a time slot!

Rehearsal Dinner with a view 🏔️
A few weeks ago I got to photograph this beautiful rehearsal dinner for The Harts in Oregon! We enjoyed all the yummy pizza and wine while overlooking Mt. Hood from the vineyard.
Elle had a vision and boy did it turn out to be Pinterest worthy 😍

I got so many compliments on my jacket at last weekends wedding - it’s become a staple in my wedding day wear! If you’re looking for a custom lettered jacket you need to go to @lovelylittlelight asap! She opens custom orders once a month, mark your calendars for April 1 🤗🤗 Also s/o to my girl @abbie_leigh_films for putting this video together 😭 she did some other work for me that will be featured on my new web design from @withgraceandgold that I hop to share with you all by summer!
DAY 9: Your Veil If this gif doesn’t explain todays tip I’m not sure what will. Bobby Pin your veil in! I cannot tell you how many times I’ve see the veil come out when the bride is hugging guests after the ceremony. Or when then groom or dad puts their hand on her back during a photo and accidentally pulls the veil out. Or even in photos like this were we use the veil for movement. Make sure when your hair stylist is putting the veil in, that there is someone designated to removing it later in the evening. This can be one of the moms, a personal attendant, your photographer or coordinator.
