Today we coordinated a beautiful wedding for Virgil and Gina. Not only are we friends with the grooms family, we also have been privileged to help with a few of his brothers weddings. It was a joy to help them get their married life started and they also chose to do so on Glen’s birthday! It was quite interesting as the groom and Glen are like two peas in a pod! Both have huge hearts, love to tease and can be quite ornery! Thanks so much for allowing us to be part of your special day, Gina and Virgil!

A beautiful wedding I helped plan.

Glen and I were privileged to be youth leaders for this bride for quite a few years. Even though the youth weren’t our biological children, they are still our kiddos! At a camp out the girls were asking me how Glen proposed. Marsha made the remark that if she ever has a boyfriend he better have a romantic proposal! In my mind, I was pitying her, because us ladies know that not all men are romantics, like we are!! But God was already preparing a gentle giant for Marsha and he had the most romantic proposal, down to making sure she had a manicure, because he knew that was one of her wishes. It was such an honor to help you plan your beautiful, glittery, gold wedding! May you continue following Him!!

10/20/18 Today we helped at another beautiful wedding! The lights, candles and the amazing flower arrangements made a beautiful backdrop for the glowing couple. Linda and Joe's wedding was very special for Glen and I. Linda was in our youth group and we were youth leaders for a number of years, so we have a lot of "adopted children", Linda being one of them. It's always such a good feeling, knowing they have made such an awesome choice to follow the Lord and then to top it all off, to find an upright partner. Thanks so much for allowing us to help plan your beautiful day! God's blessings as you continue to follow Him. Ah, yes! Can't forget to praise the Lord for holding off the rain till late afternoon. Prayers were answered!

The wedding for Saturday is all set up and done. Yay for amazing help! Tomorrow we will work on the bouquets and the flower arrangements.

7/28/18. Naomi and Ernie's wedding was so beautiful in so many ways. The flowers, the colors and the happiness of the couple were a few of them. Because of their life journey's, they were confident in what they wanted and that was evident in choices that were made. There was a bit of bittersweet mixed in too, because both the bride and groom had lost their first spouses to sickness. Thanks for allowing me to help plan your wedding! It was a joy to work with you. May God bless you, as you start your journey together!

There's just something about weddings that I absolutely adore! I'm not sure if it's the radiant couple, the always beautiful flower arrangements or the decor. Maybe it's all the happy people celebrating the bride and groom. Whatever it is, I'm so glad to have a job I love so well! This arrangement is part of the decor of today's wedding.

Well, I had a first today! Set up for a wedding and was home by 4! I had amazing help, which was a bonus. Now we'll just have to keep praying for no rain at 5 pm tomorrow.
