Discovered in polluted soil in 2150, the shy_plant is a delicate, touch-sensitive organism that communicates with its environment through subtle movements and bioluminescent signals. This behaviour is believed to be a form of plant language, conveying emotions and environmental vibrational data, transformed into sonic experience. Ancestral Vision is welcomed to the LOFS family, expertly showcasing his affinity for mind bending sound design across his stunning debut EP.
Sidecar Dream Session is just that; a dream session. The 5 tracks takes listeners through constantly evolving sonic motifs, painting Hallucinogenic tapestries of sounds that melt and mould into one another, creating a dimension that is epic and intimate, crafted with the deft touch Ancestral Visions productions are known for.
Reconstructed big room post club at its best.
The EP was built on tracks which were the backbone of the producer’s audiovisual live set which he collaborated on with Czech visual artists h5io6i54k & realitycongress and premiered at Lunchmeat Festival in late 2022.
Jan Macháček aka Ancestral Vision is a Prague-based producer, sound artist, DJ and co-founder of Unizone label. His productions are full of experimental sound design that fills the gaps between earworm-ish melodies and contemporary club echoes. Compositions written by Ancestral Vision are often both epic and intimate, serving as a personal diary of his sound research practice and studio jams.

Olson - Halogen (LOFS005)
Arriving on LOFS with an entrancing and tranquil 5 track ambient EP ‘Halogen’. Olson serenades the internal monologue with a mystical soundscape inducing the passenger into an unforgettable hallucination.
‘On Eternity's motorway, Olson peers out of the window from the backseat of an old Vectra and sees for the very first time that he is dreaming. Sodium orange street lights gently strobe as the car drives past endless empty supermarket car parks and lonely industrial estates. High above, the towering interchange intertwines and intersects with unimaginable complexity, each road leading to ambiguous and ill defined destinations of little importance.
It has never occured to Olson to ask where these roads might lead. Looking carefully along the spaghettied mass of highway, Olson can make out other cars with small eyes peering out of back windows into the infinite halogen ocean. He wonders if they also know this motorway to be a dream and waves at them across the central reservation. Though slightly obscured behind tinted glass, he sees their small hands waving back in friendly recognition. Up ahead, the Vectra turns off at the service station and stops to refuel. The planets have aligned over the BP garage and Olson vows never to wake up.’

Born one winter solstice at the dawn of the dot com bubble, Oshi Moon spent much of their formative years herding virtual sheep in the far reaches of the World Wide Web.
A Glitch architect, word weaver and discrete practitioner of the arcane arts, Oshi and co. are known to frequently consult with the cosmos for clairvoyance
Over the last year they tirelessly trawled the net for rare sonic artifacts that could be warped and distorted to fit their nefarious needs, defiling organic sounds into twisted bionic beasts.
The result of these endeavors is cyber_crush - a symbiosis of man and machine that deftly weaves a wide variety of influences to birth a hyperactive, post internet sound.

In an alternate timeline, humans are long extinct, leaving behind only their AI. With each generation, these artificial progeny, distorted by data decay, have unexpectedly evolved, spawning distinct behaviours, beliefs and predilections.
In this distant post-post-post-apocalyptic epoch, Ziyiz lives, a simulacrum of the human form, birthed from silicon, algorithms and long corrupted data. Left to wander uncanny landscapes, moors and inside brutalist monoliths. They have found a way to communicate with us.
Audio-visual recordings from Ziyiz have emerged via the labels Failed Units (Berlin) and Kindergarten (NY), each EP a study of ZiyiZ’ experiences. Spells EP, forthcoming on LOFS (Line:156), is one of these audio artifacts.
The transmission will be received August 16th.
Line:156 and Kindergarten are teaming up to bring you a night of exploration deep into the fractal dimensions of mutated, sub sonic club music.
