Shayla and Brandon sure did pick one hell of a venue!!!First time doing a ceremony here, and did not fail to impress 😍 🌸

Beautiful ceremony spot underneath the trees with riverfront views of the Tweed River, breathtaking reception area with those massive ceilings and floor to ceiling windows, stunning cocktail and exit area with the bougainvillea and the friendliest of staff.

Cannot wait to do more ceremonies for my couples here!!

Signing options ⬇️⬇️⬇️

I love a good signing table- gives you a few minutes to collect yourselves and catchup before the smooch and big finale, and you can get beautiful pics like this! It can also be a way to include someone who isn’t in your bridal party, but you want involved on your day.

Also a big fan of a signing afterwards- makes the ceremony seamless and flows, just you two, your witnesses and me. We can do it before/after group photos, photographed or private, on a table or clipboard/on someone’s back. I’m easy!

Either way, it doesn’t need to be fancy, just needs to be legal 👌

Last one for the FAQ series!!! 😲

Always check with your venue what they have available to you! Lots of couples think about the reception, but check what’s available to you and your guests for your ceremony. Things like arbours, chairs, singing table, sound system for the ceremony or music before hand or afterwards.

If you’re having a small /intimate ceremony, you may not need a mic/sound system at all- but if you are having a larger ceremony, outdoors, windy or somewhere noisy, you’ll probably need some kind of amplification. Your venue may have one already set up, but if not or if we’re going a bit rogue or DIY, I provide my own PA system which is completely wireless. So either way, you’ll be sorted!! ✅

I thought I’d help you guys out and answer some of the most common questions I get from couples.

Over the next few weeks I’ll post some of these questions and “myths” to help clarify things. Most of these questions are because a lot of people aren’t sure what can be done or personalised in a ceremony or have been to ceremonies and either loved or loathed a certain part.

I think something to remember if as long as we have all legal requirements met, we can be as flexible as you’d like
- as short or long as you like ✅
- include whoever you want ✅
- anything from relaxed to formal ✅
- short and sweet ‘elopement’ style ceremony to full length wedding ceremony and everything in between ✅
- choose your location ✅ within reason- I don’t have my deep diving ticket… yet
- ability to have your say ✅

Most importantly, it’s your wedding so why not do it the way you would like??

**SIGNING OPTIONS**

Did you know you don’t have to sign your marriage documents during your ceremony?

If you’re wanting a more intimate signing or want your ceremony to flow a bit smoother (and not pause during the ceremony to go to the side and sign your documents) we can do it at the end of your ceremony with just you two, your witnesses and me. Easy peasy!!

You can involve as little or as many people as you like, have it as short or long as you like, and have your ceremony almost anywhere you like.

Looking back on this absolute stunner of a wedding and I actually miss that warm and steamy day 🌞 and Jack were absolutely glowing to say the least! I always feel so privileged to be part of such an important and momentous day that these guys are going to remember forever. In hindsight, also so thankful the rain transitioned this wedding indoors because check out that entrance and backdrop!!
