Surprise! We’re already married!

Yesterday Amber & Ben surprised the majority of their guests by arriving down the aisle together and announcing they were already married.

Their guests were absolutely delighted for them (phew!), and they all had an extended canapé hour or two in the afternoon sunshine hanging out instead of the traditional formalities.

We were stoked to shoot their celebration for them on such an incredibly beautiful private residence, and to be able to capture these two in amongst the grounds that Amber explored every inch of growing up.. what a stunner you are Silverdale!

Taking it back to the warm afternoons of February with this gorgeous engagement shoot with Gabby & Joel.

These two lovebirds didn’t need convincing of the importance of our bonus engagement shoot and couldn’t wait to get in front of the camera and laugh at our ridiculous jokes.. and after having a month off after Christmas with illness, I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed hanging out with these two shooting again!!

This engagement shoot was the perfect way to ease back in with a fun loving couple who weren’t afraid to be themselves and have a little adventure with us at the Lake.

Cannot wait for this time next year for their wedding - the countdown is on you two! ✨

Cannot seriously wait for the wedding today for Teagan & Joe in Bendigo! We came through their neck of the woods last year and managed to do an engagement session, and these images have to be one of our favourite engagement shoots to date! Gorgeous chill couple in a beautiful setting, hanging about with us and getting used to being in front of the camera. Perfect.

We can take pretty pictures. We can shoot at epic venues like Waldara. We can film choreographed dances and first looks and pumping dance floors.

But do you know what we can’t capture?

A connection that doesn’t exist, and a joy that isn’t had.

So much joy from this wedding and such a beautiful couple who just had each other. All. day. long.

It really is such a privilege to capture these real moments. Real connections. Real love. Not just pretty couples doing pretty things in pretty clothes with pretty flowers… Although we got that too.. ✨
