This is one of my earliest recorded mixes that's actually worth hearing, recently given to me by a friend who received my initial mixing experiments 😅 This was shortly before I changed my name, Mike E was hurriedly chosen and I was never that happy with it.

Listening back to it, I was surprised at just how dark it is, probably the darkest mix I've played.

I didn't write a tracklist, and between my memory and Spotify, I'm still unable to name them all, so please feel free to help me out.

I've now listened to all the cassettes I received recently of old mixes of mine that I never kept copies of, the best of which (pictured) are edited and ready for upload very soon, just the tracklists to type up.

Unsurprisingly my earliest ones are not going to be available, I was still very much learning and experimenting 🙉 The majority are from 2005 and I was struck by how good the music was at that time, still tracks that could be enjoyed just as much today.

Thankfully I still have a cassette player (inherited from a friend) as another friend just gave me mixes that I used to do for them that I never kept copies of.
These are from 1999-2002 and would be some of the earliest recordings of mine so I'll have to check my mixing 🙉, but the tracklists look 💯 solid and you can expect to find some of them on my Bass Blog & Soundcloud accounts in the coming weeks, search 'djfusion79' and follow me or check back here for links and updates 🔊

I have a lot of CDs 💿 from 2002 onwards when I started recording to MiniDisc 💽 and I need to rip and upload these too.
