✨🌈 Hugo’s Rainbow Show!🌈✨ Delighted/terrified to announce that my brand new solo kids’ show will be making it’s debut at this October!

I’m having too much fun making it. It’s a silly, musical story about the science of the skies, following our wonderful weathery friends Ray the Sun ☀️, Misty the Cloud 🌧, Wayne the Rain ☔️ and Archie the Rainbow 🌈.

An original storybook accompanies the show illustrated by icon AND a full album of original music made with actual legends and (she just had a song in the new SpongeBob movie!).

Please tag everyone you know in Melbourne! This show is best for two to ten year olds and our neurodivergent whānau, but it’ll still be a funny, soothing wholesome time for any big kids/grown ups craving something cute.

8 Shows! 11:00am & 1:00pm on Sat 12, Sun 13, Sat 19 and Sun 20 of October at Grouse - Room 7 on Smith Street.

Anybody wanna f**k the monarchy? 💦 👑 We had more than twenty kings on stage at the Drag King’s Birthday Megashow this Sunday and these beautiful boys ✨dazzled✨! Traditionally, in Aotearoa, the big regional drag pageant competitions are run on Queen’s Birthday Weekend. But with the new monarch in, I reckoned it was time to start a new local tradition! A big old king pageant, baby. (Non-competitive ofc cause I’m not about to make the lads fight.) It was bloody lovely. Mark your calendars for King’s Birthday Weekend 2025. I’m already gagging for a repeat.

I love diverse children’s literature, I love doing drag for kids. And am very grateful to the organisations still brave enough to host them. My heart goes out to the Gisborne g**s today.
