Let's talk about ads.!
As most of you guys know youtube is a horrendous place when it comes to ads these days... I'm guessing most of you guys know that youtube is owned by google that make the majority of their money selling ads. and youtube doesn't really like it when youtubers/creators start talking about adblockers on youtube. So I'll just bring it up here in a bit more of a "safe environment" so to say...

Long story short- if you're annoyed by the insane amount of ads you see on youtube, or on the web generally, I'd advice you to use an adblocker like either uBlock Origin or adblock plus - both of these are plugins/addons for the internet browser and completely free. you can get uBlock here: https://ublockorigin.com/
or adblock plus here: https://adblockplus.org/

Personally I use uBlock I feel it works the best. That's just my preference though. If you don't like the ones I suggested I'm sure you can find one that suits your needs if you google it.
The picture I used for this post is a screendump of my uBlock adblocker and as you can see it has blocked roughly 3 Million ads since I started using it around 2 years ago.
Think about that number for a second... 3 MILLION ads...
That's a rather huge number I would say... The majority of these ads of course being blocked on youtube which is where a great deal of my spare time is spent..

Now I'd just like to mention that you can switch it on or off if you'd want to .... Let's say there is a streamer on twitch or a youtuber you really like and don't mind supporting through the ads- well in that case just click the little icon located in the top of your browser and turn it off and you'll see the ads and be supporting said youtuber or twitch streamer.
As an alternative to using an adblocker you can sign up for youtube premium and pay a monthly fee to watch videos/listen to music with no interrupting ads. https://www.youtube.com/premium
Wheather you end up doing one thing or the other I'll leave up to you guys and your conscience

Before I end this post I'd like to add that I make no money on youtube because my channel is not eligeble for monetizaton so you take nothing from me by using an adblocker...
Another thing worth mentioning and this part is quite important- as a general rule of thumb if you think something looks fishy or too good to be true and you're in doubt about whether or not to install/use an addon or a plugin simply stay away from it and choose not to use it- it's always better to be safe than sorry.
