It's hard to believe we're saying goodbye to yet another dedicated committee member. Sheila Fetter spent years as our secretary, taking notes and expertly filtering out the BS during meetings. She also worked tirelessly to keep track of the times during both the Jr. and adult shows. Her dedication was appreciated more than she probably realized, and she will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts are with her family as they navigate this tough time. They’re planning a celebration of life for Sheila, and we’ll share the details when available.

Old school Buckley was built by remarkable men and women, and the loss of one of those cherished individuals brings profound sadness. Ginger Britschgi spent many years serving drinks at D’jon’s, where we used to have our meetings and the epic log show after parties. She was the only bartender who ever had to kick out committee members for getting a little too rowdy one year! Ginger always had a funny joke or story to share and knew the exact countdown to the next log show. She was also the proud wife of our 2010 Bull of the Woods, Bob Britschgi. Ginger’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace, Ginger 🤍

A memorial service, will be held on October 13th at 2:00 PM at the Buckley Eagles.

Thank you, Clarke boys, for making this happen. Little did anyone know that not long after this was filmed, Gene would spend his final days in the woods. As Gene himself says in this video, "It's a damn good life."

Thank you so much! We are deeply honored to have been chosen. The funds you have diligently raised will make a significant impact.

Each year the Auxiliary President will select a non-profit and her sisters will help raise money for the organization in her name. The 2023-2024 President, Kate, selected the Buckley Log Show's Busted Up Loggers Fund. With help from her sisters she was able to cut a check for $1,906! Awesome work!

Stay tuned on ways you can help support the current Auxiliary President's charity Steven's Animal Sanctuary out of Black Diamond. A non profit that provides a permanent sanctuary for special needs and senior animals to live out their best life. They also just happen to share our motto "Never A Dull Moment"

Every year, these young men volunteer to support the log show in every way they can. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, the show runs more smoothly, and the older guys get a break from the heavy lifting. You boys are a great example of leadership. Thank you, Burbank boys!
