Let's talk faux flowers! 🌺 Don't let past experiences with tacky and cheap-looking artificial flowers ruin it for you. Trust me, I get it! But here's the deal: not all artificial flowers are created equal. I bring my clients only the best, because let's face it, quality matters. So, what should you look for? 🧐
First off, it's all about the details. Check those petal shapes—are they realistic? Are there delicate veining on the leaves? Avoid anything with overly frayed leaves or that cheap polyester feel. And let's talk structure! A good faux flower should hold up well and have a solid, natural-looking structure. Because when it comes to faux flowers, it's all about finding the ones that bring that wow factor without screaming 'fake.' Trust me, you won't regret investing in the good stuff! 💐

The workshop florist - faux flowers

The workshop is a little brick built building based at my home in Basingstoke. It is where I design faux flower arrangements using traditional floristry techniques with high quality faux flowers. I love my job and I have been a florist for ten years during this time I have worked using real flowers in several florist shops one of which I still work in part time. I love everything floral and I am inspired by my love of gardening. I have city and guilds floristry qualifications and am a member of The British Floristry Association and ABWB.
