Dear Valued Customers,
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closure of Costume Replica Cave. I, Vaughan, have made the difficult decision to hang up my hat and close down the business.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we faced several challenges, including delayed orders, the need for rework, and the loss of staff due to lockdowns and personal issues. While we have maintained our high levels of service in terms of the quality of our costumes, our communication and timelines have, at times, fallen short.
As the founder, I hold myself to high standards, and I don't believe we have been performing as well as we should have been. Rather than continuing to limp along and potentially risking the reputation of Costume Replica Cave, I have decided that it is the best course of action to close down the business.
I'm proud that despite our challenges, we've consistently maintained a 4.8 (out of 5) or higher rating, with over 95% of our orders achieving 5-star reviews. While I believe we could have still improved our accuracy, I feel we've done our utmost to deliver exceptional suits and service.
Costume Replica Cave was founded in 2015 when I wanted a Deadpool suit for myself, and the positive response from others led me to offer suits to the public. Since then, we have completed over a thousand orders, and it saddens me to close down before we could fulfill our dreams of creating replica costumes for Deadpool and Wolverine.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all our clients, fans, family, and friends for their unwavering support over the years. I would also like to thank my offsider and our dedicated team for their hard work and commitment to our mission. And a special thanks to Rob Liefeld, Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Stefan Kapicic, Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams, Brianna Hildebrand, Ed Skrein, Hugh Jackman, Bill Corso and everyone else who has helped bring Deadpool (and Wolverine) to the big screen.
This decision was not an easy one, but I believe it is the right thing to do for the business and for myself. I appreciate your understanding and support during this transition.
