As some of you might have already heard, from January 2024 I will be no longer involved in the OK Sound Helsinki record store that I founded together with Kris Goodin in 2021. After a long consideration I decided to leave the company. I am grateful for all the good moments we shared with Kris and you, amazing customers, but it is time for a new chapter in my life now! Feeling a bit wistful, but also positive towards the future. The store will now continue without me, and so, I am also up for job opportunities and new projects 😄 photo by

D.J. Olli Koponen is a well known and beloved character in Helsinki’s nightlife, cherished especially for his eclectic musical taste. Having started at the age of 18, he has become one of the most genre-fluid and skilled DJs in Helsinki. His dj’ing style mixes a multitude of genres from various decades. You may have seen him at after-parties as well as digging crates at a flea market vinyl stash, or playing synthesizers as a part of trance-duo RAD. His new mixtapes have drawn positive attention by blending downtempo, ambient, house and trance fluidly together. Recently he also started his own label, Pollination Records. Olli is ready for Red Light Radio and NTS Radio. Are you?
