I love alterations. Like, not major alterations where I have to make something fit someone, but I love taking something that is just mundane and turning it into a really amazing piece.

My good friend, Victoria Moore, and her Army Veteran husband stopped to help the victims of an accident. They were first on scene even before first responders. As they were assisting, another vehicle driven by an impaired teenager crested the hill and struck my friend resulting in serious injuries, including the loss of part of her leg.

My sweet friend and her family would appreciate any help and support given, even if it's just prayers, but she and her husband will be out of work for some time during this recovery and healing, so any contribution to this go-fund-me would be welcome.

This has been a particularly challenging week. My truck's starter went out last week and, in the interest of saving money, I purchased a new one from a local auto parts store and took it to my mechanic friend to change. It was a fabulous plan until the new starter was faulty and now has to be replaced again. We initially saved like, $200 but that savings is going to cost us 4x that much. Today we went to the dealership and purchased a new Nissan starter and THAT part was more than double what we paid for the part that quit working after a week and now we have to pay for labor AGAIN to have the better part installed.

The moral of the story is cheap isn't always better, and a good quality product CERTAINLY isn't cheap. LOL.

And also buy my clothes because I have expensive truck repairs to pay for. 😂

My inventory is often limited because I'm just little 'ol me sewing and taking photos to post in between working full-time at my very own hair salon! Sometimes I only have 1 or 2 of each item in stock. I actually think I have 2 of these cute bloomers.

Fun fact, I love size inclusivity and I strive to make all my garments as size-friendly as possible. All my skirts are ONE SIZE FITS ALL, my Bloomers fit comfortably up to 58 inches, and ALL items have adjustable elastic not only in the waistband, but also in the legs for a customizable fit for all!

Do you know it took me almost as long to photograph and edit these photos as it took me to make this set? Lol. However, I'm quite pleased with how they turned out.

I'm still getting the hang of this "online sales" thing, trying to figure out the best packaging to ship in, how to get views on my posts, and balancing my other jobs with sewing and advertising these existing items. The more you, my fans, share my posts, the better I'll do and I appreciate the support!

My biggest task right now is building my website and stocking my store. There are a few things on there now, so feel free to check it out.
