Rustic Red Cheddar, an English cheddar that was made on accident when the wrong culture was added to a savory cheddar recipe. This cheddar is sweet, nutty and still savory. The texture is great alone or great paired with your favorite flavored cracker or whole grain mustard. Priced between $15-18/lb.

After a very busy holiday season, it’s time to sit down with a glass of red and some Brugge Comtesse cheese. Comtesse is made in Belgium and offers a hint of sweet summer fruits and hazelnuts. This cheese would pair well with a salty prosciutto as the cheese itself is low in salt. Brugge Comtesse ranges from $18-22/lb and makes a great charcuterie cheese since it appeals to many tastes.
