One that I’ve wanted to post for a while, just haven’t found the words til now.
A little trip down memory lane coz I think it’s good to remind one self where you’ve come from.
5 odd years of this flower business, and they’ve all been pretty different. Finding a constant pivot towards where I want to be and how I want to run my business.
In the past I’ve over worked and over booked, only to learn you burn yourself out and you’re not better off for it.
Learning to do the opposite, slowing down, learning to say no, working with clients that align with my values, that has been a game changer.
Growing flowers! Absolutely loved this time. Always had flowers to admire, though I finally found this tough with little children & time management. Naturally Moons Lane Flowers became a floral design service only.
Trying retail which is exciting and very different to weddings & events, although you’re always ‘on’ and it’s not for the faint hearted. I couldn’t make this work, but I’m proud that I tried. Hats off to those who make it work! (& make sure you buy flowers from your local florist).
Finding a joyous local florist to work at 2 days a week, alongside my weddings and events has filled my cup so much. It works beautifully with family life & I get to get out and talk with my community.
Everything is just meant to be and I’m enjoying this flower filled journey 🌸
2025! I have some wonderful clients booked in for their weddings but have room for some more, please send me an email or fill the enquiry form in bio link. Wld love to chat with you 💕
Piccies of me from the girls for their recent speaking panel event. Thanks Iz & team 💕
+ a few older random memories.
