In 2016, a mic check turned into a movement.

What started as a chance backstage conversation with Executive Director quickly became one of the most meaningful long-term partnerships in ESP’s history. That year, we produced our first NAMIWalks—an annual event that brings the mental health community together and helps eliminate stigma.

We handled logistics, sponsors, permits, programming, and more. But what we remember most is the energy. Over 1,000 people showed up at Dusable Harbor that day, walking in support, walking in solidarity, walking with purpose.

Over the years, we helped NAMIWalks evolve—adding art, music, pet-friendly fun, and moving it to the South Side for greater accessibility. And we got to witness something special: NAMI Chicago growing from a small team into a powerful organization leading critical change in mental health advocacy and care.

This one is about more than an event. It’s about impact. And we’re proud to have walked beside them.

ESP Presents proudly played a hand in the extremely successfully and celebratory 10th Annual Cara Gala in support of the Cara Collective’s important mission to build an inclusive economy in Chicago and beyond. The event welcomed more than 650 guests at and raised nearly $1.2M, a record-breaking fundraising feat! Last week, we helped one of our client’s host their “Take Your Kid To Work Day” in their downtown office space. The fun spanned two floors and included Soft Play by , Face Painting and Balloon Twisting from , a photo booth by with a balloon burst from , an ice cream cart from , and (the very fun) Build-A-Plush from . Sprinkle in some swag and video games, and it was a magical day for the 100+ kids who were able to attend!

Nothing is more rewarding to ESP Presents than an opportunity to flex our creative muscle with trusted partners and collaborators to gather people in a unique and inspiring environment. We are so honored by the enormous success of “After Dark” and the joy of watching guests experience it. We’ll cherish this decade of collaboration for years to come.
