Maple Grove Triathlon

On Sunday evening we lost a dear member of our Maple Grove Triathlon family. Leslie Doll was a dedicated volunteer and avid supporter of the multisport community. If you crossed the mount/dismount line in the last 5 years at MGT, you were supported by Leslie and her husband Mark as they told you to get on or off your bike. The loss of Leslie has hit us hard and our thoughts and prayers go out to Mark and the rest of her family.

Tri-West is a Sprint and Olympic Triathlon on Sunday, July 24th, organized by Gear West. The event is just 30 miles west of downtown Minneapolis at Lake Rebecca Park Reserve. Rebecca Park, part of the Three Rivers Park District, provides a beautiful backdrop for a great day of racing and spectating. Lake Rebecca is a secluded and protected small lake and is a beautiful way to start the swim leg of a triathlon. WE WELCOME ALL ABILITIES TO JOIN US! New to the sport? Check out team participation and the Aqua Bike (no running is needed!) Participating with friends is a great way to introduce yourself to a triathlon if you are new to Triathlons or desire to get back in shape!
