Since creating my company – kind of on accident, but that’s another story – I have served over 50 brides and countless other stationery clients. I’ve seen it all, heard it all, and solved all sorts of problems. When I’m not working, I’m playing with my little one and two pups at home, reading (50% chance it’s Harry Potter…again), or losing at board games to my husband. I taught music for five year

s post-college at every single grade level possible. I grew up playing piano and performing in many, many (many) musicals. If I’m in my car, you can be absolutely certain I’m rocking out with full-on hand motions. Quick Hitters:

Did you know that I work with couples all over the country? In September alone, I worked with a couple in California, a couple from Tennessee with a wedding in Florida, and 2 local couples. So even if we’re not in the same zip code or even the same state, we can design your dream wedding invitations together and give your guests a paper experience they’re not likely to forget anytime soon.

::slams laptop shut until September 16:: After a big push to the finish line, I will be out of office until the middle of September enjoying a vacation to Hawaii we've been planning since before Covid. Admittedly, I’m ready for spring by the first whispers of fall. I struggle through the dark, cold months. But one of the beautiful parts of my job is designing for the season ahead, and I got to jump right into bright, spring and summer colors with this destination save the weekend for C+A. Plus, all my tulips are in full bloom, so it’s been a good week.

In terms of timeline, you should be looking at ordering your semi-custom suite about 4-5 months prior to your wedding if you're mailing between 10-12 weeks prior. Which you should be because... the post office 🙃

If you’re using dark envelopes and cotton or handmade paper, envelope liners are a great way to protect the integrity of your invitation from rub off. And if you’re using an envelope liner, why not make it custom with your wedding logo?!
