100 Kata for Karate Day 2023 - update!! ... registrations and resources and MERCH!
With just over 1 month to go until the 2023 Challenge event we already have 55 dojos registered to take part. Based on previous years I fully expect that number to go way above 100 by the time we get to October 25th (Karate Day).

The Asato Dojo in Okinawa will be heading to the beach in Naha on April 9th for our 100 Kobudo Kata Challenge, starting at 8 AM.

If you love kobudo then why not join us in spirit and action on Sunday April 9th and take the 100 Kata Challenge where you are. In your dojo, local park or beach.
Just choose a kobudo kata to perform for 100 repetitions, or multiple kata for a total of 100 reps. Its a friendship event with no fees required.
Please share your videos and pictures with us afterwards and tag them
Open to all styles, ages and levels of experience.

Meet us at Naminoue Beach (Tsuji side, south side) for the 100 Kobudo Kata Challenge 2023 in Okinawa.
Just choose a kobudo kata to perform for 100 repetitions, or multiple kata for a total of 100 reps. Its a friendship event with no fees required. Bring your own weapons.
Start time 8 AM (finish by 11 AM). Enter the beach from car park of Costa Village Espana.
Lunch at Georges restaurant afterwards.
