Camp Scouts
Camp Conscious Collective’s humble beginning was a project to produce and curate two new independent venues at Melbourne Fringe 2019, creating spaces for q***r and female-identifying performance artists. We activated two intimate pop-up theatres on Lygon Street, just a stroll from Fringe's sparkly new Trades Hall Hub.
Today, Matt, Ali and Sam are still tapping away behind the scenes to explore new platforms, opportunities and pathways for our artists. Scouts' honour: we believe in the value of representation, of community, and of utilising our skills to foster the diversity, inclusion and accessibility of Australia's cultural sector for our q***r and femme friends.
