Funeral Fest

As many may have already gathered, there has been some trepidation as to whether Funeral Fest was to go ahead in 2025. With a busy summer calendar for RV and a host of events in Barrow around the same time, it's become difficult to get the right headliners for the right dates.

So with that in mind...

Due to several reasons, we have chosen to postpone Funeral Fest 2025 to 2026. We feel that we can create a much better event in 18 months time.

Thanks for your patience, support and understanding. We feel that this is the best way to continue and if you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

Good morning!

Apologies for the radio silence regarding the 2025 event but things have been working hard behind the scenes.

For transparency, we are still working on our headliners and as such, we are yet to confirm date or venue.

We've made contact with a handful of great undercard bands who we will be confirming as soon as the headliners are booked.

Although we are somewhat known for the extreme genres (Death Metal, Thrash, Black Metal, Crossover, Grindcore, Doom Metal, etc), we find that it's important to provide dynamic range throughout the day to elevate every band and keep it diverse

Given this idea, what non-screaming (but NOT Metalcore) bands would you recommend for the event? We're talking Hair metal, Power Metal, NWOBHM, non-Crust punk (but NOT pop punk), goth, etc.
