Required skills
You possess at least 1 year of relevant working experience, or a strong background in catering or other culinary work.
You are a good team player, and have a strong work ethic.
You have good communication and interpersonal skills.
You are friendly and approachable, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
You speak and write proficiently in English.
You must have a food handler’s certificate, and have knowledge of food safety standards.
You must be able to work on a flexible schedule depending on business needs.
You must maintain a hygienic kitchen and personal hygiene.

Preferred skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well in an environment with time constraints.
Ability to troubleshoot effectively.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, performing work accurately and efficiently.
Preparing a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes
Creating new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers
Decorating pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting

Job Description
You will help manage all pastries & sweets in one of our international school kitchens. In your role you will coordinate with the Chef de Cuisine, to execute and serve daily menu offerings.

You will assist your teammates to:
Ensure sufficient stocks are in storage & food placed in appropriate containers.
Ensure all kitchen equipment and tools are used safely, correctly and kept in good working condition at all times.
Act on any guest feedback and provide any service recovery where required.
Perform any other duties assign by the Management.
