Lisa De Weddings Non Denominational Officiant for the Modern Couple My oldest sister never wanted to get married, until suddenly, she did.

Once she made that choice, her and my now brother-in-law both decided they wanted to make it as personal and intimate as possible, so they asked me to get ordained. I happily accepted the challange, and now 6 years later I have officiated the weddings of my closest friends, friends of friends, neighbors, family, etc. It brings me so much joy to be apart of such a special day. Together, the couple

and I create their ceremony. We meet either in person or through skype/factime to get to know a bit about one another and discuss any expectations regarding length of ceremony, traditions, readings, etc. From there, we create the perfect ceremony. I have been Maid of Honor/Officant twice, so I had a bridal party gown on while officiating those weddings. Some couples have asked me to wear black, others had no preference, and the most recent, to dress like Garth, as it was a wedding on stage at a music venue.
