Closing out the year with this moment of peace and beauty from a summer evening in the Cutting Garden. ✨ I don’t have anything particularly profound to say about this year- at the moment I feel distracted and pretty wiped out from the holidays and all the complexity they bring! Not particularly grounded in this moment, but trying to accept that these feelings and states of being are part of the process too… even when they arrive at a time when I have expectations around being reflective and present.
But wanted to mark the closing of one year and opening of another in some way. Thank you to everyone who has intersected with Botanique in some way this year! Clients, students, peers, friends, farmers, and of course my little family and all the flowers… you have all left beautiful impressions and I am grateful for the ways I’ve been able to experience community, connection, and floral beauty with you.
If you’ve read this far, I’ll also share that I’m offering a New Year’s Day flash sale on my online class Arranging Garden Flowers!⚡️Until midnight on 1/1/23 you can take $5 off the class price with the code: flowerful2023 at checkout! More info 👆🏻. I’m going to stop talking about this class for a bit bc self-promotion just feels awkward… but I’ll finish by saying that I’m proud of the class- both the finished product and just going for it and making it happen! I hope it supports those who sign up, and also provides a more financially accessible option than a lot of our other educational offerings. And a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has already signed up!! Seeing your names come through as you enroll has truly brought me so much joy! And for those curious to read some student reviews, there are now a few notes from people who have taken the class up on the website!
Happy 2023 everyone! May we all move towards more compassion and kindness in this next year, recognizing our inextricable connection to one another and acting accordingl
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT AND GIVEAWAY!!!!!! 📣🌸📣🌸📣
I’ve been hinting at this for a while, and am thrilled to announce that our first ever online class is now LIVE and available to you!! Watch the trailer above to get a peek into the class. Full details and registration are available up there👆🏻under “ONLINE CLASS- Arranging Garden Flowers.”
I am so excited to finally be able to share this class with you! If you’ve always wanted to take a class, but cost has been prohibitive, I hope this is a more affordable option. And if you live somewhere other than Seattle and cannot make it here for an in-person workshop, I hope this offers you the inspiration and tools you need to arrange flowers wherever you may be located!
I am a huge proponent of in-person learning, and will continue to offer in-person classes and workshops! But creating this course has given me a new perspective on online education, and I am really proud of what has been created here. I think you will find it really helpful and inspiring, loaded with information to help you learn how to design your own gorgeous, seasonal arrangements!
To celebrate the launch of the course, how about a little GIVEAWAY??!! I’ll be gifting this course to two people, and here is how you can enter:
1) LIKE and SAVE this post.
2) COMMENT with either your favorite flower, or anything that makes you excited about gardening, flowers, or arranging.
3) Tag at least one gardening/floral design pal. Extra entries for extra tags 😊
4) BONUS 5 entries if you also share to your stories!
Winners will be randomly drawn and announced on Thursday this week!
Please help me celebrate the launch of this course and spread the word to anyone you think may be interested! And a HUGE thank you everyone on my email list who already signed up for the course from the pre-sale over the weekend! 🎉 I so appreciate you, and hope you are loving the class!
