I was lucky enough to be interviewed by over the weekend for their feature on the at Coney Island! It was so much fun to reminisce about my experience attending as a professional mermaid performer. While I’m working on my land legs this weekend and will miss out, I hope all of you who attend have a mermazing time! The inset photo is of me and at our very first parade in 2018!

As much as I want to make this a “Happy Pride” post, we have so much more work to do. Now, more than ever, the LGBTQIA2S+ community, especially trans folks and q***r BIPOC folks, needs its allies. I wish you all so much joy this month as well, of course, but we need to protect our own.
✨My page is and always will be a safe place and I will not stop using my voice or my platform to speak out against homophobia, ESPECIALLY transphobia, and other rampant mistreatment of marginalized groups. You are heard and you are loved!
