Tonight Riffolution is going down to Rebellion Manchester as a guest judge for the M2TM Manchester competition. It was fun last time and we even saw new talent that needed to be booked 👀

Also in the horizon is our next show of the year featuring the legendary Truckfighters. I mean it's rare they come to our neck of the woods.

Entering the CVLT spotlights and one of our personal favourites, the inter dimensional Sci Fi wobblenauts Wallowing

This abrasive doom outfit take extreme blackened metal, with psychedelic sludge, and package it into uniquely high energy stage shows. Expect lots of smoke and laser, while dawned head to toe in their own version of astronaut space gear, creating breath taking live experiences!

It's that time again, this week we're highlighting our good friends Grave Lines , on our final steps to CVLTfest

Signed to New Heavy Sounds, the London gloomers are known for their multi-genre dwellings, jumping between walls of riffs, gothy, traditional doom and sometimes industrial influenced sound!

Their last album 'Communion' not only worshipped the genre forefathers, Sabbath, but allowed for music influences from all over the specrum to be present. Even Metal Hammer voting it as number 7 in the top Doom albums of 2022!

TORPOR for over a decade have been concocting the finest blend of darkly sparse post metal ambience, bleeched with doomy industrial tinged sludge with pepperings of gutteral growls and emotive spoken word.

Their excellent new album 'Abscission' takes their bleak sound to the next level and serves as a perfect soundtrack to a journey into a dystopian hellish future world!

16 days remain on the countdown to CVLTfest and its time for the next highlight with a band that delivers exactly what it says on the tin. A sound as heavy as a concrete slab being dragged across a floor!

For 16 years Slabdragger have been creating devastatingly thrashy sludge riffs, wrapped with epic thunderous doomed layers. When unleashed live, it feels like a head on collison with a brick wall combined with crushing force of a depth charge!

Unfortunately we have lost Made of Teeth who can't festival now. Instead opening proceedings on the Saturday is a LKP/ Riffolution favourite. Everyone please welcome Battalions

Battalions effortlessly conjure the spirit of sabbath, with crushing sludgey riffs, shrilled vocals and catchy grooves into an infectious sets!

Time to cast the Spotlight on another band helping resurrecting the CVLT, which is now officially just one month away and we have just under 50% tickets left! 👀😱

Introducing local Mancunian post metal collective Pijn , taking their name from the Dutch Word for 'Pain' and with an album dedicated to the experience of 'Loss' expect a stunning, and powerful set.

Pijn are known to weave deeply emotive performances with sorrowful string sections and dynamic atmosphere soundscapes. We look forward to seeing what they bring to CVLT experience!

Good evening folks, time for our regular festival band highlights to begin once more, this time for Cvltfest which kicks off in 5 weeks time!

First up is our Friday night headliners DVNE bringing their energetic combination of progressive doom and post metal to Cvltfest and while flying the flag for Scotland too while at it! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 👊

Known for their brutal riff frenzies, knarly dual vocals with licks of blackened thrash metal riffs, this doomy outfit have been thrilling audiences since 2013. With a name inspired by the legendary Frank Herbert's novel of the same name and lyrics equally emotive deep in sci lore it’s easy to be drawn into a hypnotic state while in the presence of their explosive live shows! 💥

DVNE will headline Friday 23rd February on night of Cvltfest Resurrected.

What a weekend to remember. It's been a few days since was out for the 2nd leg of their tour, and it's been brilliant. Especially our hometown show at . Lost for words on how amazing everyone was.

What a fantastic mid week show last night at Rebellion Manchester ! Big thank you to Newcastle fuzz worshipers Dunes for opening up, setting the pace high from the get go and Blind River for some crushing mega hype riffs with main support! 👊

Sasquatch wowed with a top deserty drenched riff charged performance! Good luck with the rest of the tour and your double London residency at the weekend - which now has low tickets for Sunday folks get on it as Saturday is sold out! 🚨

And no rest for the wicked we're straight onto the next thing... Ritual King will be launching their new album 'The infinite Mirror' tomorrow and will be kicking off a tour we've booked the same day! 🤘

Friday is sold out, but they will also be in London on Saturday at Blondies last few tickets now available via London Doom Collective ! 👀
