No one really talks about the emotional side of this DJ life…

People only see the highlights , the parties, the packed dancefloors, the sick reactions, the plays.
But they don’t see the late nights when you’re overthinking everything.
When you’re wondering if you’re even good enough.
When you send out tracks and no one replies.
When you see others win and start doubting your own path.

No one tells you that loving what you do can also mess with your head.
You give your energy, your soul , and sometimes it feels like no one even notices.

But real talk… the ones who keep going, even when it’s quiet, even when it’s lonely , they’re the ones who actually get there.

So yeah… I’m still here. Still pushing. Still showing up.

This is a huge honour and a milestone in my journey as a producer. I never imagined I’d get the opportunity to remix such a legendary track: – Brown Paper Bag. This tune was one of my all-time favourite drum & bass tracks back in the day. I gave it a speed garage twist, and I’m proud to say it’s been approved and will be released as part of a remix pack this summer! ☀️☀️☀️

Nowadays his style is a cross-over of all styles and influences from garage, to bassline & strong vocal house tracks. The underground scene holds no secrets for him and although he was way ahead of his time with his unique style, you can't call it underground anymore. G-double-E is widely regarded as a respected DJ and an accomplished producer/remixer. Saluted by the industry for being one of the most creative mixers with instinct and technical prowess, not forgetting his energetic performance behind the decks! His musical journey started in Amsterdam, where he provided the first underground UK events and was always 2steps ahead of other promoters. He was behind the decks of events like World of Dance [UK], Awol [UK], Dance Valley [NL], Speedfreax [NL], 2Stepsahead [NL], Mid Summer Ball [Cyprus] to just name a view. G-double-E decided it was time to pursue his own individual and alternative projects. With his own imprint Cookie Deaux Music he seeks for the perfect cross-over house sound. His remix for Richard Anthony Davis’ The Weekend is an instant banger.

With the new refurbish Speedfreax events in Holland he will try to put the sound UKG & BASS on the map again.
