Bears have always been used as a special attraction at wrestling events. Here is BIG JOSH accompanied by two during my early years with . Luckily the bears were turned over to their handler before Josh entered the ring. I wasn't so lucky years before at an independent show in Asbury Park, NJ where Victor The Wrestling Bear competed. We came face to face in the ring. I wasn't happy. At the end of the match I was supposed to feed a bottle of to Victor. That never happened.

Every year the local Unico Italian-American club sponsored a wrestling event the first week on January. Bruno always made himself available to headline.
